Nigel Tapp - Proprietor

Nigel has 20 years experience in commercial and residential property having worked at major national practices including CB Richard Ellis, Weatherall Green and Smith (now Atis Real) and Chesterton. Formerly a partner at Allsop running their residential investment and development agency team from Leeds Nigel opened his own firm to fulfil an ambition to offer his clients a focused and personal service.

Nigel specialises in all types of property advice particularly in the investment and development sectors. He additionally offers a full range of commercial property services including lettings, rent reviews, lease renewals, valuations and associated advice on industrial, office and retail property across the region. Nigel acts for many Housing Associations in the North of England region and also for charities requiring property advice.

Nigel is married to Claire and has two children. They live near Wetherby and away from the office Nigel enjoys a long run in the country and getting out on his bike.

Sarah Rookes- Associate

Sarah joined the firm in summer 2010 to develop our valuation and consultancy services. She has over 10 years experience at three major national practices including, Knight Frank and Allsop.

She is a specialist valuer covering both the commercial and residential fields and has been responsible for undertaking major valuation projects for banks, financial institutions, private companies, public sector bodies and housing associations.

Sarah lives in York and enjoys a day out on the East Coast at the weekend.

Nicholas Gill - Consultant

Nik joined Nigel Tapp & Co in 2009 specialising in the student investment and development markets in which he has worked for over ten years primarily as a principal.

Niks expertise includes identification of off market opportunities and design led work to maximise returns in the sector.

Away from the office he enjoys sailing and skiing - although not at the same time.

Vicky Chipp - Trainee

Vicky is a trainee gaining experience at the firm while undertaking a BSc (Honours) in surveying at Sheffield Hallam University.
